Oprah Winfrey To Host Two-Night Town Hall, Discussing Racism In America

According to @hollywoodreporter, media mogul #OprahWinfrey is hosting a two-night town hall special to discuss racism in America.

Oprah stated, “I’ve been having private conversations with friends and thought leaders about what’s next and where we go from here,” said Winfrey regarding the May 25 death of Floyd, a black Minneapolis resident, while in police custody, and the ensuing days of protests across the country. “I thought it would be of both interest and service to bring their ideas, concerns and comments into a national spotlight.”

The guests for the Town hall include #StaceyAbrams, #AvaDuvernay, and Mayor #KeishaLanceBottoms.

The town hall, “OWN Spotlight: Where Do We Go From Here?,” will air June 9th and 10th.

The tragic death of George Floyd, many people have started to enact change and hacktivist group, Anonymous, is doing their part in these digital streets. 

After the hacktivist group reportedly took the Minneapolis Police Department’s website offline, and hacked Chicago’s Police Department radio frequencies to play “F- Tha Police” by NWA, the hacktivist group took to Twitter to allegedly expose a few celebs and even the Donnie..

As we’ve reported, the protests were inspired by the death of George Floyd who died at the hands of four police officers, all of whom have been arrested and charged. Derek Chauvin had his charges upgraded to second-degree murder. The other ex-officers have been charged with aiding abetting-murder in the second-degree.
